Our Vineyard Story
When we bought the vineyard in 2022, it was sadly classed as abandoned. It hadn’t been pruned, and the rails and wires were broken and rotten.

Our first task was to re-post and re-wire the entire vineyard, followed by a hard prune in January. It was a nerve-racking moment, as the vines had endured years of uncontrolled growth. Fortunately, we had a fantastic mentor to guide us through the process. We also had the soil tested by a specialist agronomist, and the results were encouraging.
In spring 2023, we planted 600 new vines — filling in gaps and replanting whole rows where the original vines had died. We introduced seven varieties, both red and white, in the hope of creating an interesting harvest and a well-balanced field wine.
In 2024, we planted another 600 vines, this time focusing mainly on a white grape variety. That same spring, we also built our small on-site winery — allowing us to produce our wine sustainably and providing a space where we can educate and entertain visitors.
